My smartphone is one of my favorite accessories. It’s glued to my hand more than any ring I wear (or than any cookie I eat. Busted!) and I’m constantly capturing things I see or what I wear for Instagram. Ah well, it’s a healthy addiction. And if you’re the same you’re in luck. Because I teamed up with Samsung and I’m giving away 4 Samsung Note Galaxy Note II smartphones (just in stores for 699 euros!). I'll be testing out the brand new device myself and entering only requires a fashionable comment with some creativity.

ik denk dat nummer 1. toch kunst is.. kunstenaars en vooral kunstenaressen als Yoko Ono. Het is voor mij vanzelfsprekend om Fashion en Kunst in dezelfde adem te noemen, neem Iris van Herpen, dat is toch niet alleen fashion maar gaat veel verder!
2. is dan toch de muziek. als ik helemaal inspiratieloos ben zet ik de prachtige muziek van Alt-J of heerlijk nummers uit de 'oude doos' op!

Hey Yara, thanks for the great competition. Here is my entry:
Well, I work in an office, so no jeans or any sign of casual wear is allowed (sounds terrifying, I know....). Being a lover of original and non-formal clothing I find it rather challenging to stand every morning in front of my closet thinking how the hell am I going to style myself in order not to look like an old extremely lonely librarian divorcee. After a while I found some little clues and styling ideas how to bring a twist to the grey-black-boring world of business wear and how to bring together my need to express my style and the “be professional” dress code. So I guess a little Samsung friend would be helpful to capture all my ideas in order not to lose them and recycle them all over again.
Would love to share some tips with other women struggling with the same task every morning!

1) places. The New York skyline, or an amazing island. Or the beautiful colours of the desert.
2) beautyproducts. As I adore beauty, I can get inspired by photos of beautyproducts or looks.
3) my moodboard-books. Yeah, I know, nowadays you have Tumblr or Pinterest. (I have them too!!) But I still have my inspiration-moodboard-books. Nice outfits, accessories, looks, interior-design, quotes. Everything that catches my eye, get's cut out of my magazines and into my book.

Dingen die me inspireren en mijn stijl laten zien:
1) De ring die mijn vader me vorige maand voor m'n zestiende verjaardag heeft gegeven. Ik ben gek op sieraden in allerlei vrolijke en opvallende kleuren, maar ik vind sieraden met een bijzondere betekenis nog veel mooier. De ring die ik heb gekregen heeft mijn vader heel lang geleden aan zijn moeder, en dus mijn oma, gegeven en nu heb ik hem dus. Dat vind ik toch wel heel bijzonder.
2) Mijn biker boots en ik zijn onafscheidelijk. Ik ben gek op vrolijke, meisjesachtige of vrouwelijke kleding, maar ik vind het wel leuk om nog iets stoers in mijn outfit te verwerken. Dat doe ik dus vaak met mijn biker boots. Ik heb ze nu ongeveer een jaar en draag ze nog steeds bijna iedere dag.
3)Het internet is mijn grootste inspiratiebron qua fashion. Ik neem elke dag wel even de tijd om lekker op de bank op m'n iPad leuke blogs langs te gaan, foto's en filmpjes te bekijken, muziek te luisteren, nieuwtjes bij te houden en ga zo maar door. Bijna alles kun je op het internet vinden, dus daar krijg ik de meeste inspiratie door.

Flying far away from my homeland, I have been moving to Austria for 2 years, and since then I've been totally inspired by the native clothing (trachten). Genoeg dingen om op te noemen, maar als ik zou moeten kiezen zouden dit toch wel de drie dingen zijn die het eerst in mij opkomen..
1. Fashion. Wellicht ook de reden dat ik verslaafd ben aan blogs als de jouwe. Ik raak namelijk enorm geïnspireerd door het kijken naar, maar ook het maken van foto's op het gebied van fashion.
2. Love. Niet iets wat je gelijk op zou noemen als het gaat om inspiratie, maar mijn liefde is voor mij toch een echte inspiratiebron. Soort van "feel good makertje". En bovendien is de liefde (hij) wel een groot deel van mijn leven.
3. Food. Ook het maken van foto's van maaltijden of tussendoortjes vind ik erg leuk. En ook erg leuk voor de mensen om je heen. Zo haal ik regelmatig recepten bij andermans instagram accounts weg.

1. Next to my flat there is a small park. Now that the trees are loosing their colorful leaves it is such a beautiful place to be. Especially, when the sun is shining! I can't describe the light and color. It's a great inspiration for autumn outfits!
2. In November, I'm going to my home town Düsseldorf (for foreigners it's Dusseldorf) where the photographer Rankin has an temporary exhibition called 'Show Off'. Just saw some random pics on the internet and I'm looking forward to visit it! Exhibitions can be a great inspirational source.
3. Another inspiration for me is just walking around in Hamburg, where I live now. You can find many different fashion styles on the street. I'm often fascinated by older women and men that found the style that suits them best and at the same time underlines their personality! Love it!
4. A picture of bloglovin! I'm following around about 200 blogs about fashion, beauty, food and lifestyle. A lot of inspirational input every day.

1.My latest source of inspiration: my boyfriend's paintings(he recently re-dicovered this passion) and his color pallete is often my outfit pallete.
2.My chic med school classmates(8 beautiful girls) because I love how their doctor's coat looks paired with boots, skirts and the great accesories they wear.

1. My shoes. I wear what I like and I like what I wear and I don't give a d*mn what others think. It depends on my shoes on what of outfit I will wear for the day.
2. Young and Aspiring fashion designers/ students. As an intern to a fashion school, I see a lot of young and aspiring fashion designers everyday which inspires me, not only emotionally or in my career but also in my personal style.
3.My Country. I know that sound cliche or cheesy, whatever. But it's true that I get inspired by my country. We have A LOT of beaches (since we're an island country), bright colors, precious stones are everywhere and the indigenous people of the Philippines are quite fashionable too :)

I for once am in love with my Nike wedges lately so I'd definitely take a picture of an outfit with those shoes. Next I'd take a pic of my sheepy (or is it fluffy?!) Monki sweater I bought in Amsterdam 2 weeks ago. And last but not least, I'd go to a place I know with lots of graffiti and try to capture it all with the Galaxy Note, because what's more inspiring than all those colors!

Just as I read your post three (or even more) things came to my mind whose definitly will be the first things being photographed with my new phone.
First of all, I will let somebody take a photo of me in my very first autumn outfit this year with my beloved rainboots.
Second, I will take a picture of me and my best friend, because she means the world to me and I simply have to have her on my phone.
And at last I will take a picture at my mum's 50th birthday party, because I love seeing her happy with all her friends and family from all over the country.
Of course I would take many many more pictures of like everything I see, but I think those are good examples :)

As a coffeeholic, my cup of coffee is my best fashionable accessory, I even wrote an article (coffee is a part of fashion)about it, whether it is my favorite mug with the preppy mustache sticker or a lucky to-go paper cup, this fragrant accessory always photographs well in my hands or on my busy working table while my brand new smart phone is casually lying there next to it. My second way of showing off my smart phone would be dressing up my hands pretty by mixing butch edgy rings with soft ones, my tiny pastel heart rings with my double ring to catch that fresh vibe whenever I'm holding my phone texting, and I text, a lot! My third option would be my favorite book inside my new Zara bag, the color combo is so soft and warm and I always use my phone to hold the page for me while I go get some more coffee, it's a smart way to mix all of my three accessories together in one picture, or to wear them separately.

Oke geweldige give-away! Dit zijn mijn 3 ideeen voor de foto als ik de SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE SMARTPHONES 4 zou winnen:
1. Ik ga in 33 dagen naar Parijs! Ik zou daar zeker een foto maken, omdat uit Parijs je zoveel inspiratie kan halen en ik niks liever wil dan later naar Parijs gaan verhuizen en de modewereld in gaan. Mijn idee is gewoon een noncalante foto. Hoge hakken, bont jas, clutsh, druk aan het bellen lopend land de eifeltoren.
2. Mijn tijdschiften. Ik verzamel de al jaren en jaren. De elle, vogue, glamour ect. Uit elk land waar ik kom haal ik er eentje vandaan. Dit geeft mij weer omdat ik gek ben op reizen, andere culturen en modebeeld bekijken. Of mijn wall of fashion. Mijn muur die vol is gehangen met zwart-wit fashion platen.
3. Het laate wat echt bij mij hoort en waarmee ik de 4 SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE SMARTPHONES op de foto zou zetten is ijn werk waar ik nu mee bezig ben op school. Ik heb kunst, waar ik echt helemaal gek op ben. We hebben nu de opdracht een bril maken van een spreekwoord.

wow, can't believe my eyes!! this giveaway is amazing, incredible! I have to change my cellphone, it has keys and is very old, so maybe I gonna have a little chance! I never win nothing but I always try, maybe one day.. hhaha!

so about this I could take a foto of an old picture with my Italian grandma', she was SO styled for a penny, and she is one of the beggest inspiration for me.

Maybe the third pic would be a little notebook my sister brought me from India. It is embellished with old pieces of fabric, the recycled paper is a bit yellowed but I draw on some DIY projects, some crazy heels and dreamed silouhette.

1. Sinds een aantal maanden studeer ik voor mijn minor in Noorwegen. En het is ongelooflijk hoe mooi dat het hier is! Het is heel erg inspirerend om te genieten van de mooie omgeving door te gaan hiken, thee te drinken in gezellige koffie barretjes, te genieten van de fjorden en te gaan shoppen in Oslo! Verder staat er een een reisje naar het noorden op de planning om het noorderlicht te zien en te gaan hondensleden. Genoeg mooie opties voor een super foto!
2. Ik hou enorm veel van koken en bakken, zoals heerlijke pasta's, brood en taarten! Kookboeken, kook blogs en tv programma's zijn dan ook enorme inspiratiebron voor mij!

1. Mijn Wreck This Journal: een ontzettend leuk boekje waar ik al mijn creativiteit in kwijt kan! Zo leuk en ik voel me net weer een klein meisje dat zorgeloos kan knutselen.
2. Mijn favoriete outfit. Wat die is, verklap ik nog even niet, deze zal je zien van zodra ik de foto kan nemen. ;)
3. Mijn favoriete liplook en nagellak.
En op deze manier heb ik alledrie mijn passies geïntegreerd in drie foto's, aangezien ik verzot ben op boeken en creatief bezig zijn (foto 1) en ik daarnaast ook dag in dag uit bezig ben rond fashion (foto 2) en beauty (foto 3). Ik koos bij foto 3 voor de liplook en nagellak, omdat dit mijn twee favoriete make-up producten zijn en je zal mij ook nooit zonder deze zien!
