My beautiful city of Amsterdam has many great things to offer but unfortunately a beach isn't one of them. (Perhaps I should try swimming the canals?) Man, it must be dreamy to be able to step out your apartment and walk right up to the sand and waves. For now, city beaches are popping up over town - basically it's a pile of sand at a cool location with a bar, beach beds and music - and I'm making them my second home while we still have some summer. How are you spending the weekend?
