So, so, SO excited about my next adventure. This Friday I'll fly out to New York for NYFW. Mainly to cover it for Elle, with a focus on beauty, backstage and some very exciting interviews. Next to that I'll fit in some shows (/shopping/cocktails/dinner dates) to cover on This chick's got style as well. I've only visited NYC as a kid and I can't wait to re-discover the capital of the world. If you have any suggestions on where I need to shop, eat, drink, dance please let me know since I don't have a clue!

you can't really eat/shop/drink/dance there, but NY public library is worth a visit! some beautiful rooms & stunning high ceilings :)

I am very jealous! Last time I was in NY is exactelly one year ago. I love to go shopping in Soho.
For drinks & parties, you should check out he Meatpacking District, very cool places round there.
And definitely have a look at The Garage, my favorite vintage market in NY, it's every Saturday and Sunday I think (perfect cocktail-hangover shopping) and its at 112 West 25th Street, btw. 6th and 7th Ave.

je moet zowiezoo naar Bergdorf Goodman!! Dat is DE leukste winkel centrum van heel new york!... en zeker een fiets huren voor central park, als het een beetje zonnig is. Verder is er in een zijstraat van times sq. een chinees die de beste dim dum van ny heeft. heeeerlijk waren die!!

You will love NYC I go every year for Christmas to visit family and I always end up wanting to stay longer....
You definitely need to have a NYC pizza (they are the best- you can find them anywhere!)
You HAVE to go to the MOMA and the Museum of Natural History... both are wonderful!
Must go to Central Park (if you have time go ice skating :) )
If you're the kind of girl you loves to go dancing... PACHA is the place to be!
Thai food= Sea (its a delish restaurant in Brooklyn).
Shopping=SoHo ALWAYS Soho! Oh and 5th Avenue!
And last but not least... even though it is a touristy thing to do... go to the Empire State Building. The view is absolutely AMAZING! I go every time I am there :) Man... now I wanna go to NYC!
