This week was centered around work, family and food. Celebrating Sinterklaas is my favorite family traditions. It's similar to Christmas and involves a big pile of gifts, lots of food, laughing and music. I surprised my boyfriend with a plane ticket to one of our dream destinations (a good way to thank him for taking my outfit pictures all these years) and I can't wait to figure out when we'll go!

It's pretty much the same as Christmas (I think it's actually based on this holiday, given that the name Santa Claus is so similar to Sinterklaas). But because it's just Dutch it feels a bit more cozy and traditional to me :)

Haha, thank you! I don't really celebrate Christmas myself, so no gifts there, especially this year I need to continue working on my thesis during the holidays... (too bad :P)
